6 Jakarta Athletes Bring Home 4 Gold Medals from Asian Para Games III

Six Jakarta athletes donated 4 gold medals at Asian Para Games III that took place on October 6-13, 2018.

We are proud of the achievements

Those six athletes are;

1. Dian David Michael Jacobs, gold medal from men's singles and men's doubles table tennis

2. Komet Akbar, gold medal from men's singles and men's doubles table tennis and bronze medal from table tennis mixed doubles

3. Yulia Herawaty, two gold medals from lawn ball single open and lawn ball mix double

4. Kusnanto, silver medal from men's singles table tennis

5. Audrey Azwand, silver medal from bowling

6. Sella Dwi Radayana, two bronze medals from women's double table tennis and mix double

Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept. Head, Ratiyono disclosed that Jakarta Provincial Government is going to give bonus for athletes with the same value as the medalist athlete of Asian Games.

"This week we will give bonus to them," he expressed, Tuesday (10/23).

It is a form of appreciation to athletes who have fought not only the name of Jakarta, but also Indonesia on the international stage.

"We are proud of the achievements," he stated.

As for the information, 18 Jakarta athletes were selected to participate in the Asian Para Games.

In the competition participated by 43 Asian countries, Indonesia managed to rank 5th by grabbing 37 gold medals, 47 silver medals, and 51 bronze medals.
